hey! thanks for replying. it's good to see people enjoying what i have to say. i've found myself only really wanting to be surrounded by nature as i've gotten older. it keeps me sane and stable.

it's also interesting to know that there are categories of darkness for the sky - i've never heard anyone use them. i have a friend from illinois but i've never visited.

i tend to work within free verse poetry myself. i've been known to use structures as writing drills rather than entirely for a creative outlet. due to the nature of the irish language, i imagine it would take a good amount of creative liberty to make certain forms fit. you'll often find that people who speak irish will speak english slightly differently due to grammatical differences between the languages. i don't speak scottish gaelic, but i speak scots spliced into english which doesn't make any great difference to my writing as i write solely in english. i want to learn irish, though. it's a beautiful language. i like the bits and pieces i've learned from my boyfriend
